As I’m just starting this blog, it seems like a pretty intimidating task, because… well… where the f*@% do you start? I should start by saying I don’t consider myself in any way any sort of “parenting expert”… but I was driven to start this blog by numerous friends (both dads and moms) who feel I’m doing something right that should be communicated, because there are others out there who may benefit from my experiences.
How those who will benefit most will find me… I have no idea, because I’m new to all of this… so if you read this and know someone who might benefit, let them know about it. =-)
I’m not a single dad, but due to my wife’s insane work schedule, my “free time” almost always includes the kids. About them… there are 3. My son, Jaiden (7), is the oldest, followed by his first sister, Solange (5) and then the baby sister, Evelyn (4).
I don’t even know what the format of this blog is going to be, or where it may lead, but in the interest of getting off my ass about it, I’m starting it by simply starting to write… I’m sure if I don’t give up on it, it will morph into something useful for somebody.
